This serene day trip, just a short drive from our resort, offered a perfect blend of spiritual reflection, natural beauty, and Rhodian charm. The drive to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Ipseni was a breeze, covering about 18 km in just 20 minutes. Starting from the Princess Andriana (as marked on your previous map near Kiotari), we headed north on the E95, passing landmarks like Paralia Glistra and Katafigio Agrias Zois. On our trip to Rhodes in May 2025 we drove from the Princess Andriana Resort & Spa in Kiotari down to Paralia Prasonisiou, tucked away at the southernmost tip of Rhodes, where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas collide. The drive south took about 45 minutes from the resort, passing through Kattavia, the last proper village before the road narrows and the landscape opens into something wilder and more remote. Two Seas, One Beach Prasonisi, as the locals call it, is unlike any beach on Rhodes. A narrow sandy isthmus connects the main island to a small rocky peninsula, creating two completely different beaches on either side. On the east, the Aegean side is calm and sheltered — perfect for swimming and wading. On the west, the Mediterranean side is rougher, with steady winds and rolling waves that attract windsurfers and kitesurfers from across Europe. ...
